Our longest running event, Light Up a Life Tree Lighting Ceremony, held at Sutter Memorial Medical Center, marked its 32nd year on December 3, 2017. This milestone was celebrated with loving families, a military color guard and a beautiful reception. This year’s honorary tree lighters were the Grover Sisters, Sarah, Emma and Rachel.

Community Hospice dedicated engraved bricks and pavers to honor those who have served our country in the military and have passed away at our Veteran’s Pavilion Dedication Ceremony. Community Hospice is a partner in the “We Honor Veterans” program, which is a National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization program.
