Community Hospice & Health Services has had the opportunity to both affect and be affected by so many individuals and families over the years. Many have found ways to provide financial support for the ongoing work of an organization they care so deeply about. This support has taken the form of involvement in fundraisers, annual contributions, investment in the Alexander Cohen Hospice House and other avenues of furthering the work that Community Hospice & Health Services does. But what happens beyond our lifetime? How do we assure the work that we have been committed to continues in the future? A gift to our Endowment Fund will “insure” the furtherance of our mission.

Planned or deferred giving enables you to arrange charitable contributions in ways that help you meet your personal objectives. Your attorney and/ or accountant can further assist you in determining which type of gift will provide tax benefits and most reflect your desires. Planned Giving offers several options to support Community Hospice & Health Services. One of the key benefits of planned gifts is they can be funded in multiple ways. Although funding a planned gift with cash is the simplest method, planned gifts offer the flexibility to make your gift with assets that will deliver maximum benefits to you.

A gift of any amount will be an investment in your community. As the cost of care continues to rise, not just for needy patients but for all those in our community who need end of life care, your gift will provide continued support over the years
