Our goal is to keep most of our patients at home, where they prefer to be. At times, their pain and symptoms cannot be managed at home, and require nursing care. The Community Hospice Alexander Cohen Hospice House (ACHH), in Hughson, CA, provides an option with 16 private inpatient rooms, 24-hour care, in a comfortable home-like setting. We provide over $350,000 a year in charity care to ACHH patients. We also recognize that sometimes caregivers need a break from the constant care they provide their loved one at home or to go out of town for a special family event. Respite care is available to patients to allow caregivers peace of mind that their loved one is receiving quality and compassionate care while they get a much needed break.
